The Akashic Records on Moon Wisdom: What Are The Best Ways to Connect with the Moon?

For this post I will be sharing some of my own moon rituals, how I've been connecting to moon energy for over 10 years, and messages I’ve accessed from Akashic Records to deepen our souls connection with the moon.
How our relationship began…
I’ve had a deep connection with the moon, or “La Luna” as I like to call her ever since I was born. My astrological sun sign is placed in Cancer which means my ruling planet or (rock) is the moon. Before I began consciously tapping into my spirituality I knew my soul was drawn to the moon for a reason. I wrote poems about the moon, and felt the instinct to bask in her light during the full moon. I believe this relationship between us was established in my past lives, I know in my heart we are deeply entangled for life. This fascination I've had goes much deeper into my spiritual DNA. Knowing this I always honor and respect my time spent with her.
I first started incorporating moon rituals in High School, simply writing notes into my journal about what I was experiencing and how I felt. Then in college, I started expanding this ritual by inviting friends to visit a specific location hidden in the mountains where we wrote our intentions down under the full moon and burned the pieces of paper to finish our ceremony. During college, I also experimented with creating my own moon art and furnishing my home with moon decor acknowledging the deeper meaning behind her presence in my life. Soon after college and at this moment of my life, I have now included a new moon rituals into my practice.
My Personal Moon Rituals…
Full Moon “It is time to release and let go”
First I begin researching the type of moon I will experience according to the month. The theme, names, and meanings I look for are traditionally described by Native tribes in America, each theme has a different meaning associated with the full moon and what energies you can expect to connect with.
Using this theme I create a journal prompt for myself. The upcoming full moon on July 5th will be a “Buck Moon”, a time when the deers antlers are growing to full bloom. I use this symbolism and apply it to my own path, some prompts for this upcoming moon can be written as, "What am I trying to grow? What do I wish to grow and manifest in my life?” Write these prompts while visualizing the antlers of a buck growing strong from his head. It is also popular to create prompts and intentions based on the astrological placement of the moon. On July 5th the full moon will also be in Capricorn, a good time to release worries related to how other people perceive you and a need for justification.
If you practice the art of Tarot like me, then you can incorporate a full moon spread into your ritual! There are a few spreads online to find or you can easily create your own as you begin to create your intentions.
The intentions and themes that work best with a full moon are letting go, releasing energies, and removing what no longer serves you. After you decide your intentions, meditate with them or do a yoga flow if you wish to deepen the vibrational connection as well. If you feel called, take your written intentions outside with you to present to the full moon. If it's safe to do so you can burn or destroy the paper, this will symbolize the release of what you want to let go.
New Moon “It is time to receive”
During my new moon rituals I follow the astrological charts to receive a new theme. Yesterday the new moon was in Cancer which is related to emotions, relationships, and home life. With this is mind I created my prompts based on what I wanted to manifest and bring into my life according to Cancer symbols and traits. The intentions and themes that best work with a new moon are receiving, new beginnings, and manifesting new goals and projects.
If you were interested in using Tarot, then you can incorporate a new moon spread into your ritual! Use a designed spread or change a spread that aligns with the new moon energies related to the astrological sign. Then focus on what you want to manifest or change and how you can become in alignment with that energy.
After I finish my tarot reading and journaling prompt I sit with the energies and really try to visualize what I wish to create. During this meditation I like to be near a candle so I can energetically charge it with my manifestations. After the ritual, I light the candle every day until the new moon manifestation comes true. If I’m charging a candle with new moon energies, I am most likely charging stones and crystals that hold similar powers as well. After I sit and charge these stones with the help of my meditation, I like to sleep with them under my pillow until the manifestation shows itself in physical form.

To make this moon post even more special I decided to access our souls Akashic Records to reveal our deepest connection with her energy. The Pinnacle: “The moon is a messenger of greatness, greatness found within us. She beams a light down onto the earth of darkness so that we can remember our light. She puts a crown upon our heads, she awakens us to remember our Divine Feminine. An energy in which Earth needs to encompass. To be nurturing, compassionate, and caring to one another. She is one of the ultimate Goddesses, she holds wisdoms from many ancient civilizations under her crust. As she changes and shape shifts she effortlessly transforms and works with the elements of the Earth, to be what she is meant to be not what she is forced to. She is one of our greatest teachers, we must respect her and listen to her divine wisdom. She can lead us into a direction, she can light the way to a new journey, she can protect us when all is dark. We can listen to her sweet songs and messages, she is a muse, she is an inspiration, she is love.”
Briöna Jolie: How can we work with the moon during the new moon?
The Pinnacle: “During the new moon Luna is extremely open. Although it looks like she hides herself, she is fully aware of herself even when we cannot see her. This awareness comes back into our souls, comes back into our Chakra. Although the light is not cast on her, it is now cast on us. When we take this light in, we are meant to manifest, to take action, to dream BIG, and to embody all in which our divine energy wants to be expressed, felt, and imagined. She lends a helping hand, as long as you pay respects to her though ritual or just sitting, and to listen to her guidance and wisdom. She turns shyness into courage, softness into strength, and manifestations into pure abundance.”
Briöna Jolie: How can we work with the moon during the full moon?
The Pinnacle: “Just as the wolf howls at the full moon, the human is meant to let EVERYTHING out of their human suit. To unzip and completely reveal themselves for who they truly are, what their shadow work might be, what needs to be let go. She is in full display to absorb these darker, heavier energies into her light beam. When she is fully open she is comforting us, she is loving us, she is giving us a great big hug. She does not want us to miss her energies. She wants us to slooow down, to reflect, to think, and to pause and meditate on what is is we need to work on…..what lessons we have missed in this season of our lives, and how we can come out on the other side of this transformation closer into our souls path and purpose. She does not hide herself because she does not want us to hide ourselves during this time.”
Briona Jolie: Is there anything else we need to know about the moon?
The Pinnacle: “Many of life’s events revolve around the moon, how she presents herself, where she is. Pay attention to her, do not take her for granted. She is Earths sister, she is Gaia’s sister. La Luna has many many powers in which we still do not know and realize in the human world, but they must be respected in order to work with her if you wish. You can even call upon her energy anytime you want, she is able to help you during transformative times. She is able to help you during times of uncertainty, and when we move, and change, and switch ideas, and careers, she is able to support you. She is also here to remind you of your Divine Feminine energy, to sync up with which you need. Follow her as you follow through the rest of your journey here on Gaia.
