How to be aware of signs your spirit guides are sending.
Signs are visual spiritual messages directly sent to us by our spirit guides. They come in many shapes and forms delivered to us at a divine time in our life. I started to become more aware of signs in High School, I would see animals that connected me to a certain person or numbers which appeared in times of good fortune. I believe the hardest thing people deal with is accepting that signs are not random. Sure we can blame seeing a certain number over and over again on the psychology of our brain, but how else are we supposed to get a message from our guides besides seeing a vision? psychic senses are not felt or used the same way by everyone, and Spirit enjoys giving us clues at all times. They do this to ensure we stay on course toward our long journey while sending us options that align with our souls purpose. Try to think of signs that bring you peace or tranquility. What does this look like? When it appears how does it make you feel? What happens after you see this sign? How does the sign fit into your everyday life? How is the sign unusual to you? Once you narrow your list down to a few signs you recognize I want you to research their meaning.
The sign I receive almost every day is seeing the number 19. I view this sign as a “Hello” from my guides, they send me this number when I need to pay attention to a certain thought and when they support my work. After receiving the sign 19 constantly for over the past 5 years, I began to dive in deeper into the meaning. This search for meaning lead me to learn about Archangel Jeremiel who communicates heavily through numbers, and enjoys helping us build our psychic abilities. I find it helpful to research a signs meaning when it is less common. For example, last week I was on a meditative walk and I took notice to a grey and white feather laying peacefully on the grass next to the sidewalk. There are a lot of birds where I live but I have yet to cross a single feather during the entire year I lived here. I noticed it as a message from Spirit and decided to take it home with me to research its meaning. To my discovery I found that being sent a feather of this color has a few meanings. The message that deeply resonated with me was, this spirit feather was a reminder of hope when stuck at a cross roads. This message aligned with my fears and truths and once realizing its meaning I felt extremely calm and at peace. Signs are a “cosmic hello” a reminder of always being connected to our souls and to those who look after us.
Spirit sends us signs more frequently than we realize. They love to speak with us and love to assist us while we move through difficult lessons crucial to our souls development. I find it easier to notice these signs when my mind is calm. No doubt, It will be harder to notice a sign when your at a bar having casual conversations with someone. Personally, I notice signs a lot when I’m driving, walking, doing simple tasks in my home and so forth. Non physical signs could show up to you as new opportunities you’ve been wishing for, or conversations that perfectly align with your needs in that moment. Signs can also be gifts from people that you’ve been really needing! Signs can be even be received through through your dreams. There are so many signs to receive, and we must thank Spirit for sending them to us by acknowledging them and paying closer attention to their presence.
What should you do when you receive a sign? When receiving a sign I encourage you to write it down or meditate on it if you feel comfortable. Journal about the experience by describing what you were doing or thinking about before you received the message and how it made you feel. Besides doing your own research, take the time to ask your guides the meaning of your sign, they could send you another clue during a dream or another cosmic occurrence. Have manners and don’t be selfish. Thank you guides properly for the sign they have sent you and acknowledge the clarity its given you. Politely ask if they could send you a little more guidance if you need it. Spirit always listens, so be grateful and listen back to the wisdom they share with you.
